Mr Tunde Akinwumi – Founder, Managing Director/CEO
Born in Osogbo and a native of Efon-Alaye, Ekiti State, Mr. Tunde Akinwumi has cultivated a career rooted in dedication, integrity, and expertise. His educational journey began at St. Charles Nursery and Primary School, Osogbo, Osun State, from 1974 to 1978. He then attended the prestigious Christ’s School in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State from 1978 to 1983, where he earned his secondary school certificate. He further pursued his education at Osogbo Grammar School, Osogbo, Osun State where he completed his Higher School Certificate (HSC) in 1984.
Mr. Akinwumi gained admission to Nigeria's premier institution, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, (formerly, University of Ife, Ile-Ife), where he earned a B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Biochemistry in 1989. Following his university education, he served in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Rivers State, where he was an Associate Lecturer at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
After completing his NYSC program, Mr. Akinwumi embarked on his professional career as a Marketing Officer at Gold Terrace Acquisitions Limited, where he worked from 1990 to 1994. His exceptional leadership and strategic vision led to his promotion to General Manager of the company in 1993.
Driven by his passion for the telecoms business, Mr. Akinwumi co-founded Everyday Telecoms, where he played a key role from 1995 to 2004. This company in Port Harcourt from 1997 till 1999 was one the major distributors & installers of INTERCELLULAR mobile phones. However, when the GSM was launched in Nigeria in Year 2000, Everyday Telecoms was appointed by ECONET WIRELESS, the GSM Company as one of their distributors. Mr Tunde Akinwumi is a man with a lot of passion, integrity, focus and high capacity.
However he resigned from the partnership in Year 2007 and has been working as the founder, MD/CEO of FIRSTGRADE TELECOMS SERVICES, based in Lagos, Nigeria. Under his leadership as the MD, the company has grown into a reputable name in the industry, providing exceptional services and solutions.

A man of integrity and humility, he has successfully led numerous projects for esteemed companies, hotels, schools and reputable individuals.
